Knock Summer Festival 2011

This years festival took place the 24th-26th of June.

The festival was Great! We had hundreds of people from all over Ireland. We had people from Dublin, Cork, Belfast, and loads more. 

We had Lino travel from New York to be with us, he gave two inspiring talks on his own personal journey in Faith.

We had Fr. Benny explain the importance of the Eucharist, and Ronan Johnson helping us to open our hearts to the transforming power of Jesus.

Elation Ministries lead us through the whole weekend with their powerful and amazing music.

Throughout the weekend people also got a choice of Workshops. Some people did Drumming to God with the Psalm Drummers, other chose to learn more about our environment with Fr. Sean Mc Donagh and others became 'Potters' with Donagh O Shea. 

It was a weekend to remember....

Even though the festival is over it's important to keep the fire burning. Try and get involved with something that's happening in your parish/dioceses.
